This is a great park. Good directions in the TL to the park. Beautiful grassy long pull through sites. The Wi-Fi was down when we were here so don't know if it worked down the hill where we were parked. We would stay here again.

A nice park for an overnight stay. Laundry room is clean but only two washers and dryers. The office staff was helpful in parking us near the laundry. Security patrols the park continually. We would stay again.

This is a delightful State Park near Effigy Monument Park. You can walk about three blocks to an overview of the River and Wisconsin on the other side. The Park was not crowded during the weekday but they accept reservations and those sites able to be reserved were all booked for the week-end. We stopped in the little town of McGregor and walked through the shops. This is an area where you can stay for several days and enjoy every minute.

This RV Park is a dirt parking lot in the back of the Motel. The front row sites are 13 feet wide. The larger sites in the back two rows were filled with what appeared to be long term residents. We have one slide out and were so close to the unit next door that we could hear their conversations. In this part of Kansas, you are fortunate to have any full hook-up campground, so we were happy to put up with the small space for one night. We would stay here again.

This is a small Campground that is in the downtown section of Independence. It is close to the Truman Library and Museum and that is why we chose to stay here. The office staff is friendly and helpful both in checking-in and parking. They have cement parking areas that are adequate to handle bigger units without putting you on top of each other. The doggy run is a nice walk from the parking areas. You do get train noise and sirens but the convenience of location is offset by those. The directions in Trailer Life need to be followed to the letter to find your way in from the freeway. We stayed for two days and by the time we left, we found our own way out and back to I-70. We would definitely stay here again.

This Campground is located so ideally next to I-40 that it must fill every night. We arrived from Texas via US54 about lunchtime and there weren't many RVers parked, but by the evening there weren't any vacancies. It needs a little polish but is adequate for a night's stay. Office staff (one nice lady) does it all. The Wi-Fi wasn't the strongest at out site but cable TV is good. Dog run needs cleaning however: it's the same old story, sorry pet owners not picking up after their pets. We would stay here again without hesitation.

This is a very nice park. The sites are wide and long pull-throughs. Shade trees at every site and grassy areas under the picnic tables. Clean and tidy in the office/store as are the grounds. Staff on duty was helpful and knowledgable about the city of Galesburg. We would stay here again.

This is an overnight campground that is near the freeway and is noisy. The sites are large and fairly level. We were here in the late Summer so it was not crowded at all. It had good Wi-Fi. The frontage road to get to the campground is a dusty and rough road that leaves your units covered in a fine dust. The owner at the office was very pleasant. We stayed here because it is close to the Herbert Hoover Presidential Museum. We would stay here again.

This campground has mostly fulltime Summer residents. We were here in the late Summer, early Fall and they had 3 pull-through sites available and several back-ins. The office staff was rather indifferent to renting or not renting. Sites are close but nice and level. It is close to Bowling Green and Fremont (Hayes Presidential Museum). The laundry has cold water to wash and two washers and dryers. We would stay here again.

This Campground is out of the main roads and noise areas. We wanted to go to the Lincoln Presidential Library and the campground isn't that close to downtown Springfield. The sites are nice and graveled and spaced o.k. There had been a leak in the roof of the laundry and one machine was out of order. Actually looked like the leak had been going on for some time. We asked when we checked in if we could get an open site so we could set up out Direct tv. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. There is a nice doggy run with grass and shade. We would stay here again.

This is an adequate campground for an overnight stay for us. It appears to have some permanent sites that are rented for the full summer. Wi-Fi was $2 for 24 hours. The four pull through sites on the front row are very close together. The shade trees are lovely as is the pathway for walking. We would probably stay again for an overnight.

We stayed here for one night on our way East. The restrooms are still under construction, but we always use our own. Office was very pleasant but didn't offer cable hook-ups (which are available on the back row). We have a small doxie and the Park wants you to walk pets outside their wall. This is the ditch to NM Hwy 1 and not acceptable. Their long term residents let their pets run loose and don't pick up after them. This is a pet peeve of mine. Not a bad park for a one night stop over. We'd use it again.

This Park is easy to use. Has wide and level parking spaces. The office could use a spruce up. For the price it can't be beat: cable TV and good Wi-Fi and all the hook-ups. We found the instructions in the Good Sam Camping Directory to be out of date with the new bypass, however, one call to the office and they gave good directions. There's grass all around for walking pets.

A nice little campground where campgrounds are scarce. It is listed in the Kansas Directory as having TV service but that has been deleted. They have great Wi-Fi. For the price, you won't find a better bargain. No restrooms or showers, so your unit must be self contained. Grassy spots that had just been mowed. It's a serve-yourself honor system.

We just pulled off the road into this Park. It's not the cleanest, nor fanciest but it will work for a one night stay. The Wi-F and cable were great. There are so many permanents that it is hard to say how many over night spaces are available. With a little work, this could be a nice Park once again. We would stay here again for one night going through the White Mountains.

We chose this park due to the rating in the Trailer Life 2009 and the fact that it was the closest to the Gerald Ford Presidential Museum. I am wondering if the reviewers have even been close to this Park. When we were connecting to the water and electric, we had to dodge dog poop and the hook-ups were so far from where we were parked that it took all the length of the cord and hose to completely connect. The directions in the TL were only from the South and they are poor. The Manager said for me to write as he had been complaining to no avail. The Office area looks like a junk yard with old vehicles and stuff piled all over. We would never go back.

Adequate RV park for a one evening stop. They have permanent residents that aren't so attractive. The cable is good and the managers are nice. Easy to locate from the freeways. We would stay here again.

This is one of those Parks that is only for a quick overnight stay. They don't accept reservations. Office staff was semi-friendly. I'm sure during the Winter months they are full but our stay made me want to wash the RV off when we left. The laundry room floor was covered with dead grasshoppers, as were the machines. We were just too far from home to complete our journey that evening or we would never have stopped. I'll not say we would never stay here again but hopefully, we would not have to stay here again.

We stayed here three nights while we visited Sequoia National Forest and shopped Antique stores. The Park has a great dog run and they keep it nice. The railroad does run beside the Park but we didn't notice the noise all that much. We didn't have a reservation but had no problems. Staff was pleasant. Park has an exceptional map of the City that is wonderful to get to stores and streets.

Enjoyed our one night stay at this campground. Staff in office was pleasant. It was crowded when we were here as there appeared to be an RV Show with several display units on the grounds. They provide one 24 hour unit of free Wi-Fi. It is close to Sutters Creek and a wonderful little museum in Lone. Nice grassy area to walk pets. We would stay here again but probably for just one night as the price is a little expensive.

We stayed here for two nights. The first space was so uneven that we staggered all evening trying to stay upright. We moved the next morning to a wonderful shaded site. This is within walking distance of the State Park and is absolutely worthwhile to visit. We watched the video in the museum and enjoyed the whole tour. Not a lot of people in the RV park as it was during week-day and school was in session. I'm sure during the Summer, this is crowded. Nice place to walk pets. We had a doe right outside of our front door, nearly scared our cat to death. We would camp here again during the Fall months.

This is such a rundown Park that the Trailer Life reviewers should be embarrased with the ratings that are in the book. The Saturday evening that we were there, some of the permnant residents were having a celebration with loud music. The streets are dusty and dirty. No maintance has been done to the trees or sites in forever. It was once a nice park I'm sure as the layout is excellent. One has to laugh at the "rules" when you see the permnant residents areas and un-leashed animals

We stayed here for two nights and enjoyed the quiet area. Laundry room was clean, convenient and reasonable. Managers were very pleasant and helpful. Welcome for pets as well as humans. Not a lot of room for walking pet but we just walked around the block with ours. They have a grassy area for pets that is nice. We would stay here again.

We arrived at this Park during the lunch hour. The sign said to pick your space and register when the office re-opened. The sites are rather strange and you park nose to bumper with another unit or if they aren't full, you have the whole site. When we went up to the office, we were told that we'd have to move as that site was reserved. No barricades were in the entrance or exit of this particular site. We left.

We stayed here for two evenings. It is fairly close to Bodie Ghost Town. They have mainly Park model homes in their spaces and I'm sure in the summer you would need reservations. It's close to Convict Lake and Hot Creek (catch and release only). Mountains are beautiful around this area. Not a great place to walk pets.

We stayed here two nights. They were two of the noisiest nights for sleeping that we have ever encountered. We were parked near the office, and the local street ran behind us. It never seemed to quiet down. The Park itself was clean with a nice dog run.

We stayed two nights, nice park. They have a great dog run over by the dry river bed. Grass and trees at most spaces. They do have some residents but they are very well maintained. We stayed in our motorhome and would stay here again. This is easy walking distance to downtown and the great Museum.

We stayed two nights in this park. This mainly is a mobile home full residence park. No cable available where we parked. Owners very pleasant but probably would not stay here again. No place to walk your pet.

This little Park is a jewel hiding in the outback of Mississippi. It is so close to the River you can hear the tugs in the evening. The old Cemetary will keep you busy for hours reading all the history written there. An Observation Tower shows the area from above. We stopped here as we were driving The Natchez Trace in the Fall. Would stay here again and again. Great place to walk pets.

We stayed here twice within a month. First time the desk staff was pleasant and accommodating. Second time was rude, surly and seemed totally ignorant of customer service. Park is old and sites are small but serviceable. Pet walk is a super grassy area, large and weed free for tiny paws.

This park is for a quick pull-off from the freeway, just to spend a night. Park Roads are bad and permanent campers are not that tidy. Park could use a good clean-up. Freeway noise is loud. Park is pet friendly but no place to walk pet. WiFi was good.

We camped here due to bad weather on I-40. Rain had made every site a small pond. Trying to connect electric while keeping out of water was impossible. Check-in is inside motel office. If drainage problem was corrected, campground would be a fine overnight stop. Close to freeway, so nightly noise is loud. Good WiFi.

This is a new Park, but such a future it will have if it continues the way it is now. The laundry is a dream to use. All new, clean machines within an air conditioned building that is kept as clean as the machines. The trees haven't had a chance to grow but should be great in a year or so. We stayed here on the week end going to Smoky Mountain Park. Pets can be walked down to the stream for everyone's enjoyment.

We stayed here for two days while visiting The Outer Banks. It is a very short walk across Highway 12 to the Atlantic Ocean. The park has it's own private beach. Close to Wright Bros Natl Park and shopping of all kinds. Manager very pleasant and helpful. Park has spaces with mostly permanent residents so reservations probably a good idea. Since this is not listed in Trailer Life Directory, it was a pleasant surprise.

Stayed here for 6 weeks during the Summer Months of June, July. Walking distance to South Fork of Rio Grande River with Park stocking catchable sized fish. Hiking Trails and lake fishing very close. Owners are terrific. Pets welcome.

Some campsites sit on top of mound, directly facing hot afternoon sun. We had made reservation well in advance but were still parked in one of these sites. We have stayed here yearly for past 4 years. Dog run is extremely poor.
